Wrightway Outfitters Ltd. has been operating in Northwest Saskatchewan since 1995. We are fortunate to be hunting some of the finest waterfowl and whitetail habitat in the province. I’m very proud to say that most of my customers that have chosen to hunt with us, return year after year.

WATERFOWL HUNTING IN SASKATCHEWAN
We offer three or four day Saskatchewan waterfowl hunts consisting of three/four morning goose shoots and two/three afternoon duck shoots. 90% of our hunting takes place in dry fields, however, we will occasionally hunt ducks in the afternoon in small “potholes”. Almost all of our shooting is done out of coffin style blinds. Waterfowl hunting begins September 1 and runs through the third week of October.
Our area harbors a large population of resident Greater Canada’s with plenty of Lesser Canada’s, Speckled Bellies (white fronted geese), Snows, and Ross’ geese migrating throughout the season. We also enjoy good numbers of Mallards. The fields where we hunt are some of the first fields encountered by the migrating geese and ducks on their journey south. These birds have seen little or no hunting pressure, which helps attribute to our high success rate. Limit shoots are the norm, not the exception.

WHITETAIL DEER HUNTING IN SASKATCHEWAN
We offer six-day Whitetail Deer hunts from November through early December. Our hunting area is located in the west-central part of the province. This is “forest fringe” country, meaning we are immediately adjacent to farmland. Because of this, we enjoy a high deer density.
Our hunting method is almost exclusively stand hunting. Because we are hunting in heavy cover, we have good deer movement at all hours of the day. That, along with our feeding program, ensures numerous encounters daily. Our hunters will see an average of 4-12 bucks per day, and it’s not uncommon to see more, when bucks are on the move.
