I have hunted with Wrightway Outfitters for three years. I learned about Wrightway Outfitters through a casual conversation with another hunter while on a hunt in Saskatchewan with another outfitter. Jeff's area is located near the western boarder of Saskatchewan Province. His area borders farmland. Therefore, the deer have a variety of food sources. This is a very pleasant cold weather hunt. The stands are made of plywood with plexi glass windows and are 6 feet tall. Propane heaters allow you to regulate the temperature inside the blind even in the coldest weather. No setting out in freezing weather in a tent blind or a tree stand with snow blowing down your neck. Each stand has two baits. I have seen as many as 20 bucks in one day. The accommodations are excellent. Each hunter has a private hotel room with a bath. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. The local residents are very friedly and welcome hunters.. Jeff's guides are local residents and are very personable. If you are looking for a comfortable, quality whitetail hunt with exceptional accommodations, Wrightway Outfitter's is a great choice.

Jeff, I was confused on why you even need a web site because your hunts are usually fully booked year after year with a waiting list. But then I thought if there was an outfitter that deserved a statement about him , you did. Jeff, as you know I have hunted in Canada for 8 years, the last 4 have been with Wrightway. I hunt 5 different states in the U.S. and Canada and I truly have to say I enjoy hunting with you and your team more than any other place.. I typically only pull the trigger a couple of times a year because I continue to look for the "Booner". I have passed up on some 150 -160 class deer while hunting with you because I am waiting for the "Big One ". I know my best chance for that "Booner" is in Canada and I prefer to hunt with an outfitter that works hard to get the hunter an opportunity for the buck of a lifetime. Your set up is great, accommodations, comradery and opportunity for the kill. I plan on hunting in Canada with Wrightway for many years to come. Tell Harvey I will see him in November.

Our group is from Louisiana and we will be returning to Jeff's place this year for the third year in a row. Unfortunately our home state waterfowl hunting has been marginal at best over the better part of ten years, so we had been thinking of a guided trip for sometime. We were fortunate to get booked with Jeff and it has been the highlight of the entire year for our group of family and friends for the past few years.

I don't know what others look for in a waterfowl hunting experience. All I know is that Jeff and Harvey grade out to perfection in every category that is important to us. The food, accomodations, and hospitality are great and second only to Jeff's field service and the scores and scores of honkers and mallards that he puts you on every single hunt! Jeff's hunts are successful in part to his attention to detail. All aspects of the hunt including wind direction, bird location, decoy placement, and blind camouflage are closely monitored to ensure the hunter has the best opportunity for multiple close shots. Actual stubble from the same kind of harvested field you are hunting in is used as the camouflage for the blinds and together with the finest realistic decoys make up a duck and goose gathering even the wariest of waterfowl can't resist. In addition, Jeff and Harvey put in many hours spotting shoots and locating birds to make sure they have their customers in the best field for success. We can attest to success as we have been on several shoots with Jeff where we have bagged a full limit of 56 geese and 56 ducks in the same mornings hunt!

Most importantly, we will be returning to hunt this year with our friends, Jeff and Harvey. We know exactly what to expect from them...... the absolute best of what is important to us.

Wow was all I could say after my first hunt duck and goose with Jeff and Harvey, and it only got better from there! I have done quite a bit of duck and goose hunting in the past so I had very high expectations with my trip to the great North Country. Every expectation I had was not only met, it was exceeded. I have been with other outfitters in Canada and have continually moved on to find an outfit that would not disappoint me, Wrightway Outfitters are the real deal and I am not easily impressed. The amount of personal attention to the details of hunting and scouting for ducks and geese that they do is reflected in amount of birds that are killed each day.
